Dropping Route to Almightyness from 1HP

Well folks looks like I reached a decision concerning the WN….So hate me if you must because sadly I am dropping it.
Reason being is not so much about the issue concerning the WN possibly being dropped by author while he focus on the light novel adaption, it is more by the fact that the MC and story fell out of sync with me, personally I wanted a story with a weak to strong MC and alot of rpg type elements, I felt that this story would suit my taste a first but alas no matter how much try, I can’t seem to get motivated enough to try and translate it. Reading the story ahead I found it lacking a lot of things I was hoping from it and the character really didn’t grow on me as I thought they would, so I decided I didn’t want to work on it anymore.

Now here’s some loli’s to calm you down….

Now don’t worry I’m not out of the the translation game just yet, you’ll see another project from me soon I said I’ll be back by July with something and I meant it. So I’m going to search ncode for something similar to novels like:

“So What If It’s an RPG World!?“(Chinese Novel)
“Shinka no Mi”
“Slave harem in the labyrinth of the other world”
“Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyusoukyoku “

Those big names up there should give you a gist of what I’m looking for and really anything with a MC gaining skills and level up if anyone got some suggestions about a good novel just give me a word in the comment section with link to the novel and also WN only.

One more thing, for anyone who wants to pick up 1Hp I have the chapters up to 52 saved on docs just contact me if you want them.

  8. I’d have to recommend Yomigaeri, but it may not be what you’re looking for.

    My other suggestion is Hachinan. It’s been translated up to chapter 29 before it got dropped, and the spoilers I’ve read on animesuki have made me yearn for somebody to pick this up. It’s also fairly similar to what you’re looking for in my opinion. Main character isn’t really strong in the beginning, but he learns magic and his power is increasing. It does have a lot of politics though, but it makes it more interesting imo.

  13. FYI I was gonna do Shinka no Mii before 1HP but those guys from Re:translation had picked it up so I left it alone, now current status of translation is unknown I don’t know whether it’s been dropped or not, if it has I’ll see about picking it up.

    • Uh…Lygarx and I asked him to help and to steal a project what a joke, no matter what any translator may you can’t steal from them unless it’s their own translation copied and claimed as your own. In the first place no one has rights to monopolize a translation of something that’s wasn’t made by them only the Author does, as the said story belongs to him/her

      • I merely offered my help since NeroDragon12 had done part of it and didn’t have time to finish due to real life. I did not enjoy translating it due to how weird it was written. I enjoy the story, but it is not an easy novel to translate.

      • If I remember correctly, it’s a machinetranslator with quality barely half a point above Google/Bing Translate. Read his version hurt my brain as bad as reading a mtl, so I dropped his page full of disgusted.

    I don’t know of alternatives, so unless you browse all of “Shousetsuka ni Narou” or search for non-picked project suggestion lists from other people like that of isekaicyborg, I have no advice I can give you.

      BTW I hope at least lygarx keeps translating it.

      After thinking it throughly, the only projects I can think of are projects you won’t do, like Isekai Mahou wo Okureteru, that’s not only picked, but also the MC strays a bit from your preferences, and Knjiki no Wordmaster, wich fits better in your preferences and is full of lolis, but the several individual people working on it have on average a little bit of sense of camaraderie, which brings the whole to a state that doesn’t seems to go with your wish of total independency, so I really have no suggestions to give you.

      • my plan is that the next release i will be doing for this series will be on x mas and it will be ch 25 not 11. your best bet would be to create a page on baka-tsuki so that it can get organized as a team. i may only do a chapter for this series every 6 months to only once a year. i have other translation projects

  29. Ahahahaha… if those three series were your criteria then it should have been obvious enough that 1HP isn’t your cup o’ tea. I mean, the MC got 100 million HP from chapter 2 onwards and defeated the Maou as if she was a slime XD Really, it’s all the name’s fault. Too misleading.
